A Challenging 2D Platformer on Android
Test your intuition, memory, and patience
From the earliest days of video games, platformers have stood as one of the most iconic genres, continuing to captivate audiences worldwide across both consoles and mobile devices.
Echo Trials represents not only a 2D platformer for Android but also the transformation of a personal project into a complete ecosystem for mobile game development.
What began as a JavaFX desktop experi- ment inspired by the indie title Level Devil evolved into a fully realized Android game that challenges conventional approaches to mobile development.
At its core, Echo Trials is more than a game: it is a platform for creative expression. Players can engage with complex challenges, design and share their own levels, and explore the collective imagination
of the community through an integrated level editor and cloud-based sharing. Beyond the gameplay, the development journey itself demonstrates the power of systematic innovation marked by migrations, optimizations,
and architectural breakthroughs. This documentation captures not only the final implementation but the process of evolution, offering insights into both game design and the technical details behind scalable mobile platforms.
